ABOUT ME

Sergio Benvenuto is a retired researcher with the Italian CNR. He also works as a psychoanalyst, is fond of philosophy and feels obliged to deal with political theory. On these three themes – which only apparently combine – he has published and published a lot, and sometimes one wonders why.

In the past it was part of schools and associations psychoanalytic, now no longer. He is limited to the Elvio Fachinelli Institute (Advanced Studies in Psychoanalysis), and still collaborates with the journal he founded, European Journal of Psychoanalysis. He is the editor of some psychoanalytic journals in English.

He usually lives in Rome, although he would often like to be elsewhere.
